JOURNEY
Making Her Mark in Medicine
Claire Tongkaew, APRN, FNP-BC, began her nursing journey at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston. She graduated from Emmanuel College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing while working in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Claire earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her diverse clinical training includes mentorship from esteemed nurse practitioners, physicians, and plastic surgeons, as well as advanced education in cosmetic injectables and non-surgical aesthetic procedures.
Claire blends medical expertise with precision and artistry to provide personalized, evidence-based care that promotes natural beauty. She is deeply dedicated to continuing education and clinical excellence, striving to maintain the highest standards in aesthetic medicine to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Claire is proud to have completed the Allergan Medical Institute Elevate Program, an immersive and highly selective training for advanced injectable providers. This further demonstrates her dedication to safe, skillful, and transformative aesthetic care.
From Chumphon, Thailand to Cosmetic Excellence
Born and raised in Chumphon, Thailand, Claire moved to Bangkok at 16 to live independently and pursue her education. For six years, she worked as a math and science tutor—an experience that fostered her resilience, independence, and passion for teaching.
Her journey led her to the United States, where she discovered her calling in healthcare and aesthetics. Today, Claire is the founder of Clair De Lune Aesthetics & Wellness, a boutique practice in Boston that beautifully merges clinical precision with artistic expression.
Claire is widely recognized for her patient-centered approach, gentle technique, and commitment to continuing education. She actively participates in industry conferences and is a proud member of organizations such as ASLMS (American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery) and ISPAN (International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses).
In recognition of her dedication to inclusive, culturally competent care, on December 17, 2024, Claire was honored with the President’s Commitment to Diversity Award from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences – an honor awarded for exemplifying cultural competence in her relationships with patients, families, peers, and the broader community.
Claire’s long-term goal is to become a respected educator and trainer in cosmetic dermatology, empowering others to master safe, skillful, and compassionate aesthetic care.
